Works independently, exercising sound judgment, and developed clinical skills to execute safe and precise procedures to deliver accurate results in a timely manner. Gains confidence and cooperation from the patient, their family\/support group, and other healthcare providers through competent patient assessment, attentive monitoring, and effective communication. Adheres to all local\/state\/federal regulations, codes, policies and procedures to ensure privacy and safety while delivering optimal patient care. May also be responsible for performing specific procedures and\/or may help orient other staff to the department.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>SIGN ON BONUS: $10,000. LICENSURE:<\/strong><br><br>CRT-Certified Radiologic Technologist (from state where work is being performed)<br><br>BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider<br><br>RHF-Radiology Fluoroscopy within 180 Days of hire if required at the&nbsp;affiliate.<br><br><strong>TYPICAL EXPERIENCE<\/strong><strong>:<\/strong><br><br>5 years recent relevant experience.<br><br><br><strong>SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:<\/strong><br><br>General knowledge of diagnostic computerized tomography principles, procedures, views, and equipment, including some experience responding to traumas and various hospital emergencies.<br><br>Capable of performing routine CT examinations as well as a basic understanding of human anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.<br><br>Possess written and verbal communications skills to explain sensitive information clearly and professionally to diverse audiences, including non-medical people.<br><br>Well-developed time management and organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize assignments and work within standardized operating procedures and scientific methods to achieve objectives and meet deadline.<br><br>General knowledge of computer applications, such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook) and related information systems (Radiology (RIS), laboratory (LIS), electronic health records (EHR), EPIC, and picture archive and communication system (PACS).<br><br>Prioritize assignments and work within standardized policies, procedures, and scientific methods to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.<br><br>Work independently, as well as be part of the team, including accomplishing multiple tasks in an environment with interruptions.<br><br>Identify, evaluate and resolve standard problems by selecting appropriate solutions from established options.<br><br>Ensure the privacy of each patient\u2019s protected health information (PHI).<br><br>Build collaborates relationships with peers and other Gains confidence and cooperation from the patient, their family\/support group, and other healthcare providers through competent patient assessment, attentive monitoring and care, and effective communication. Adheres to all local\/state\/federal regulations, codes, policies and procedures to ensure privacy and safety while delivering optimal patient care. Provides clinical supervision of assistants and aides, and serves as clinical instructor for assigned students.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p><strong>JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES:<\/strong><\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p><br>REHABILITATION SERVICES:<br>\u2022 Plans, organizes, and conducts occupational therapy programs to help rehabilitate those impaired because of illness, injury or psychological or developmental problems.<br>\u2022 Completes and documents patient evaluations and tests per established standards and regulatory requirements.<br>\u2022 Based on the data, identified problems, and diagnosis from the exam, develops and updates the patient\u2019s Plan of Care (POC).<br>\u2022 Assesses and provides\/progresses treatment for patients per plan of care per established standards.<br>\u2022 Completes all documentation related to charge capture per established standards.<br>\u2022 Coordinates patient care effectively and efficiently with other care provider and support team members.<br>\u2022 Compliant with other department and organization requirements and responsibilities.<br>\u2022 Works flexible shift assignments, e.g., days of week, hours.<br>\u2022 Provides clinical supervision to assistants and\/or aides.<br>\u2022 Serves as clinical instructor for assigned students.<br><br><br>CLERICAL:<br>\u2022 Prepares and completes accurate documentation related to patient, including all therapy performed in medical and departmental records per standards as required.<br>\u2022 May perform general clerical tasks, such as answering phones; updating patient appointments; or retrieving, entering, and revising patient electronic health records (EHR).<br><br><br>SAFETY:<br>\u2022 Participates in quality improvement processes and interdisciplinary projects.<br>\u2022 Maintains a clean, neat, and safe working environment, including cleaning and disinfecting equipment after each use.<br>\u2022 Inspects and uses equipment per manufacturers\u2019 guidelines recording data and reporting malfunctions per policy.<br><br><br>COMPLIANCE:<br>\u2022 Maintains strictest confidence of all patients Protected Health Information (PHI) and protects all PHI from accidental, intentional, or inappropriate disclosure.<br>\u2022 Prepares, administers, and documents services in accordance with state and federal regulations.<br>\u2022 Compliant with other department and organization requirements and responsibilities.<br>\u2022 Retains certification and completes mandated continuing education requirements to meet facility and regulatory agencies accreditation and licensure requirements.<br><br><br><br><strong>EDUCATION:<\/strong><br>Other: Graduate of accredited occupational therapy program.<br><br><strong>CERTIFICATION &amp;
